Choose appropriate silicone protector based on the width of your handlebars.

Press the joint ball into the socket of the phone holder through the nut.

Adjust clamp width to fit handlebar.

Install clamp onto handlebar and tighten screw.

Press screw button upwards.

Push your phone upwards into the holder (do not push the phone downwards as this may cause damage to the spring).

No, Easy Peasy to install in a moment. Open clamp, put in spacers and close clamp. We used all but one rubber spacer. We are also considering the 'other' model from the same company to make it easier to move from one bike to another. Great safe holder that can be securely used portrait or landscape by rotating it.
This would work great on a mountain bike. It is very secure and holds your phone without any worry of losing it.
