Is there enough bottom space for a sideways charging cord?

It would depend on the size of the phone. Since the corners spring outwards, the bottom space for a charger is from about 1 inch to about 1 3/4 inches.

Will this fit on my 2in handlebars

The handlebar chuck of our bicycle phone mount is suitable for handlebars with diameters in 0.59 - 1.57" (15-40 mm). The suitable perimeter range is 1.85 - 4.93" (47.1-125.6 mm). So if 2 inches refers to the circumference of your handlebar, then it will fit. If it refers to the diameter, it will not fit.

I want to mount this on a Trident Terrain 26” recumbent trike. Will this work?

This is a very sturdy mount kit. Once the phone is in you can lock it in place and will not come out. The handle bar clamp is excellent.

I have 1” extender from ball mount. Can I detach clip from phone and just use the ball attachment on phone to my extender ball mount?

Yes ,you can detach the clip, note that the ball width is 1/2 inch on this phone holder

Outstanding bike phone holder

The first one of these that I purchased lasted for years and worked so well that when I needed to replace it, I purchased the same item.

Great product

My husband wanted this for his e-bike. He likes it a lot more than the original one he bought that wouldn’t keep the phone steady.

Good but broke after one fall

I really like the phone holder. I feel like it does a great jobs securing my phone and it’s really easy to use and set up. However one day my my bike fell over really lightly and then it stopped working. I feel like for 30 bucks this phone stand should at least be able to survive one very mild fall. The good news is that my phone is not damaged. I am partially satisfied with the quality because on the outside it looks sturdy but the gears on the inside are made of cheap plastic that broke really easily. I will probably be looking for a different holder that could hold up better in the future.
